The four tools worth knowing
These four are one tap away, everywhere.
- Report
- Long-press or open the menu on any post, message, comment, listing, stream or profile. Choose a reason — spam, harassment, hate, violence, nudity, scam, false information or something else — and add anything a reviewer should know.
- Block
- A block is enforced in both directions, and you can see and undo your blocked list in Settings.
- Choose your audience
- Set a post to contacts or followers instead of public. Most unwanted attention starts with something that did not need to be public.
- Leave the map off
- Location sharing on the Memories map is off until you turn it on.
The scams that actually happen
Most scams are a handful of scripts; recognising them is most of the defence.
- The advance payment
- A seller wants payment outside Sebairo — a bank transfer, a gift card, a link to a different site — usually with a reason why the normal checkout “is not working”. Pay inside Sebairo or do not pay.
- The overpayment refund
- A buyer “accidentally” sends too much and asks you to return the difference. The original payment is later reversed and you are out the difference.
- The support impostor
- An account claiming to be Sebairo asks for a code, a password or a payment to “unlock” something. Real support never does — the Security page spells this out.
- The job that pays you to start
- A job offer that requires a fee, a deposit for equipment, or your bank details before any work exists is not a job.
- The romance that needs money
- Warmth arrives fast, the video call never happens, and then there is an emergency only you can solve. The pattern is old because it works.
One rule covers almost all of it: the moment a conversation moves your money off Sebairo, you have lost every protection Sebairo can give you.
Strangers, and what they can see
Sebairo is a place where people find each other — a seller, an employer, someone who watched your stream. That is the value and also the exposure, so it is worth being deliberate about what a person who does not know you can reach.
- Assume public means forever
- A public post can be screenshotted the second it exists. Deleting it later removes it from Sebairo, not from a stranger's camera roll.
- Meet in public, first time
- For a Marketplace handover, choose somewhere busy and daylight, tell someone where you are going, and take a second person if the item is valuable.
- Verify identity outside the app
- A profile photo and a name prove nothing. A short video call before money changes hands is cheap insurance.
Money requests and the wallet
The SBX Wallet can hold credits and cash, and people can request payment from each other. That convenience is exactly what a fraudster wants to borrow, so treat every incoming request as a question rather than an instruction.
- Read the amount, not the message
- A request carries a note written by the person asking. The note can say anything; the amount is the only part that will leave your balance.
- Nobody legitimate needs it now
- Urgency is the tool. A real seller, a real employer and real support can all wait ten minutes while you check.
- Sending is not lending
- A wallet transfer to another person is not a purchase, and support cannot treat it as one. If you are buying something, buy it through checkout so there is an order record.
What happens after you report
Your report goes into a moderation queue that staff review in a separate console — not in the app anyone can install. The person you reported is not told who reported them.
Reviewers can remove content and suspend accounts, and every one of those actions is recorded with a reason. Reports are read by people, and serious ones — threats, sexual content involving minors, fraud in progress — jump the queue.
Reporting and blocking are independent. Block first if you want the contact to stop today; the report is still reviewed.
If something has already gone wrong
- Stop replying
Do not negotiate, do not send a second payment to “release” the first, and do not threaten — it only produces material used against you.
- Screenshot everything
Profile, conversation, amounts, times, any link they sent. Evidence collected now is worth far more than a description later.
- Report, then block
Report first so the reviewer can still see the conversation in context, then block.
- Secure the account
If you shared a code or a password, change your password immediately and check your wallet activity.
- Involve your bank and the police
If real money left a bank account, your bank and your local police can act in ways a platform cannot. Contact them the same day.
Age, and looking after younger people
Sebairo is not built for young children, and sexual content involving minors is reported to the authorities and removed without discussion. If you believe an account belongs to a child who should not be here, report it and say so in the details box — that detail changes how the report is handled.

Does the person know I reported them?
No. Reports are private to you and the reviewers.
What is the difference between blocking and reporting?
Blocking stops contact with you immediately. Reporting asks a human to review the content or account. Do both when someone is both bothering you and breaking the rules.
Someone is impersonating me.
Report the profile and choose the closest reason, then describe the impersonation in the details box. Include a link to your own profile so a reviewer can compare the two in seconds.
I already paid a scammer. Can Sebairo reverse it?
If the payment went through Sebairo checkout, contact support with the reference straight away. If it went by bank transfer or a gift card outside Sebairo, your bank and the police are the ones who can act — and speed matters.
Can I hide my location?
It is hidden already. Map presence starts off, and your position is not released to anyone until you change that yourself.
