Chats that behave the way you expect

• The list loads in one trip

  Face, name, last message and unread count all arrive together, sorted by activity — so opening Chats is not a loading screen.

• Direct and group

  Two kinds, both first-class: a 1:1 thread, and a group with a photo, a description, admins and members.

• Filters, not folders

  All, Contacts and Groups sit at the top of the list. Business conversations live in their own inbox, never mixed in here.

Everything you can send

The composer carries a camera shortcut for shoot-and-send, an attachment sheet for gallery, camera and documents, and a hold-to-record voice note with a running timer. Photos are downscaled on the way out, so a thread stays fast on a real phone on a real connection.

  Recorded in the app as AAC audio and sent as a message you can play back inline.

  Any file from your device, and a poll whose counts update live for everyone in the thread.

React, forward, edit, delete

Long-press a message and the six reactions appear — tapping the one you already used clears it. Forwarding copies a message into the other conversations you belong to and marks it forwarded, so nobody mistakes a passed-along message for something you wrote. You can edit your own message, which then carries an edited marker, and delete it for everyone, which leaves a tombstone rather than a silent gap.

  Choose the destinations from the conversations you are actually in — the server enforces that, not the screen.

  Media messages preview in the chat list as Photo, Video, Voice or Attachment, prefixed with You: when they are yours.

Groups with real administration

A Sebairo group has a photo, a cover, a description and a member list with roles. Admins can rename the group, change its look, add people, promote or demote members and remove someone; everyone can leave. Tapping a sender's avatar inside a group opens their profile, which is exactly what you reach for when a name in a busy group means nothing to you yet.

Who can reach you, and who can see what

Who sees what is enforced by Sebairo's servers: you see a conversation because you are a participant in it, not because the screen chose to hide the others. Starting a direct chat honours your who-can-message setting and any block in place — and a stranger's first message arrives as a request rather than straight in your list. Reporting lives on the message itself.

  A first message from someone outside your circle arrives as a request — one text message, with Accept and Block right in the thread, and your reply accepts it.

• Blocking is enforced

  A blocked person cannot open a new thread with you — the block is enforced on the server, not in the UI.

• Business is separate

  Customer threads belong to a company and appear in the Business inbox, so work never lands in your personal list.

Questions people actually ask

• Are Sebairo chats end-to-end encrypted?

  No — and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Messages travel over TLS and are stored on Sebairo's infrastructure, and a message is readable only by the participants of its conversation. End-to-end encryption is a different guarantee, and Sebairo does not make it today.

• Can I edit a message after sending it?

  Yes, your own messages. The edited text replaces the old one for everyone and the bubble carries an edited marker — the thread never quietly changes its history.

• What happens when I delete a message?

  It becomes a tombstone for everyone in the conversation: the content is gone and the thread shows that a message was deleted, rather than closing over the gap as though nothing was ever there. You can only delete messages you sent.

• How does forwarding work?

  Pick the conversations to send it to and Sebairo copies the message into each one, flagged as forwarded. You can only forward into conversations you are a member of — the rule is enforced on the server, so a crafted request cannot beat it.

• Do voice notes have a length limit?

  Recording runs with a visible timer and stops when you release or cancel; there is no artificial cut-off in the app, but very long recordings make a large file, and large files are capped.

• Can I run a poll inside a chat?

  Yes. A poll is a message like any other. One tap votes, changes your vote or withdraws it, and the counts everyone sees come from the votes themselves.

• Does opening a chat clear the unread badge?

  Yes — opening the thread marks it read, and the badge on the list clears immediately. Counts above ninety-nine show as 99+.
