Features

Buying: a cart, a Stripe page, and an order you can point at

Add things from different shops to one cart, then pay each shop on a checkout page Stripe hosts. Your card details never touch Sebairo, and an order is marked paid only once Stripe confirms the payment.

  • One cart, grouped by shop

A payment page belongs to one seller, so the cart groups rows per shop and each group has its own subtotal and its own button.

  • Stripe holds the card

The checkout page is Stripe's, opened in your browser, so your card details stay with Stripe.

  • “Paid” is not a claim

Your receipt is real — it comes from Stripe, with a reference you can point at later.

The cart

Rows carry the product, its picture, its price and a quantity you step up or down. They are grouped under the shop they came from because that is how they will be paid for. If a seller pauses a product, or moderation removes it, its row does not sit there pretending: a listing that vanished leaves the cart before you pay, not at the payment page.

  • Quantities

One to ninety-nine per row, changed in place; taking a row below one removes it.

  • A subtotal per shop

Because that is what will actually be charged — one payment per seller, never a merged total that does not exist.

  • A count you can see

The cart badge shows how many rows are waiting, and shows nothing rather than a wrong number if it cannot be read.

Checkout

Pressing Checkout on a group asks Sebairo's server to create a Stripe Checkout Session for that shop, and opens it. Orders are created by Sebairo's servers, so an order always matches what you paid for. The new order starts as pending, and the rows that just went to checkout leave the cart: from that moment the purchase lives in Orders, where it can be followed.

  • Hosted by Stripe

The page you type a card into is Stripe's own — Sebairo receives the outcome, not the card.

  • You come back here

Paying or cancelling returns you to a Sebairo page that says which of the two happened — not a blank tab.

  • Two shops, two payments

Buying from two sellers in one trip is normal; it is two checkouts, and each one becomes its own order.

What happens after you pay

Once Stripe confirms the payment and the order is marked paid, stock counts down automatically on any product that carries a count. The order then sits in your list with its total, its currency, its shop and its status.

  • A receipt from Stripe

The payment receipt comes from Stripe as it does anywhere else you pay by card.

  • A record in the app

The order itself, which is what a problem report later attaches to.

Delivery is between you and the seller

This is the honest half of the design. Sebairo has no couriers, no labels and no tracking, so handover — meeting, dropping off, posting it themselves — is agreed in the chat you already share with the seller. What Sebairo does have is the payment record — which is why a real refund can go back to your card if the deal goes wrong.

Questions people actually ask

  • Does Sebairo store my card?

No — card details are entered on a page Stripe hosts and never pass through Sebairo.

  • Can I pay with my SBX credits?

No — and that is deliberate. Marketplace purchases are card payments through Stripe, going to another person. SBX is for Sebairo's own services. Keeping them apart is why a marketplace refund can be a real refund.

  • I closed the payment page. Was I charged?

No. An order only becomes paid when Stripe confirms it, so an abandoned checkout leaves an order sitting at pending — which you or the seller can cancel.

  • Why did my cart empty when I opened checkout?

Because the order already exists by then. The rows are not lost — they became a pending order in Orders, which is a better place to follow them from than a cart.

  • Which currency am I charged in?

The shop's. Each seller sets the currency of their shop and every price you saw, and the total you pay, is in it.

  • Can I rate what I bought?

Yes — one to five stars, with an optional note and photos, and only on a product that is actually in one of your paid orders. It is your review: you can take it down again yourself, and the shop's average goes back to what it was without it.

  • Is there delivery tracking?

No, and the app does not pretend otherwise. Arrange handover in the chat with the seller. If what you agreed does not happen, the orders page is where you say so.

  • Something broke at the payment page.

There is a page for exactly that, with what each outcome means and what to check before trying again.
